FITTING YOUR GRILLZ:
When you put on your custom jewelry, it should just require a little push to securely and comfortably fit over your natural teeth. The jewelry is meant to slide directly on top of your natural teeth, gripping your teeth from the front and back.
Jewelry should fit snugly on your teeth so it doesn't slip 'n' slide, while not being SO tight it causes pain to your teeth. It may be the case that after long-term wear, your jewelry loosens up a bit; if this happens, use your fingers or jewelry pliers (for the latter, use a soft cloth as a barrier to protect your jewelry) to gently squeeze the piece for a snugger fit. Move slowly and incrementally so you don't overdo it.

CARING FOR YOUR GRILLZ:
Removable jewelry is meant to last a lifetime as long as you clean and take care of it. In order to get the most out of your jewelry, it is recommended you...
- NOT eat, drink, or smoke with your piece(s) in your mouth. By avoiding exposure of jewelry to potentially damaging chemicals, foods, fluids, and heat, you ensure it will last a lifetime. Plus, you protect yourself from potential cavities and enamel damage.
- Store your jewelry in a safe place. Don't toss in a bag with other objects/jewelry because this could cause your piece to scratch or chip, plus it'll get grimy. Don't wrap it in a napkin when out at dinner or you might lose it for good! Instead, designate a dedicated, safe storage spot both at home and on the go, ideally a designated, padded hardshell case.
- Store an anti-tarnishing strip in your container with your jewelry to help deter tarnishing.
- Regularly take time to clean your grillz.
CLEANING YOUR GRILLZ
Materials required:
- Soft-bristle toothbrush (included in aftercare goody bag)
- Soft cloth (included in aftercare goody bag)
- Dish soap
- Warm water, about 90°- 100° Fahrenheit (think bathtub temp.)
- Grillz (obv)
Cleaning steps:
- After removing your grillz, rinse with warm water. While rinsing, gently scrub jewelry with your soft-bristle toothbrush. Go over the entire area of the tooth, especially the inside.
- Create a solution of mild dish soap and water. Let grillz sit in solution for 5 minutes. Then, use your soft-bristle toothbrush to gently scrub the grillz again. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Remove grillz from the solution and rinse with warm water.
- Using the soft cloth provided, gently dry grillz. Take it slow, and always make sure cloth is nice and clean before use.
POLISHING YOUR GRILLZ:
When you have time/supplies, it's recommended you polish your jewelry with a non-toxic metal-appropriate cleaning solution to give it a professional-grade shine. To do this...
- Use your soft-bristled toothbrush to slowly rub the non-toxic polishing solution over all surfaces of the grillz.
- Use your soft cloth to massage the solution into the grillz, slowly rubbing the cleaning solution in small circular motions.
- Rinse grillz in warm water.
- Use soft cloth to gently dab off any remaining water from jewelry.
Follow these guidelines and your jewelry will stay in great shape for a long time to come!
